Sample Sale Success

This past Saturday I participated in the Marin Store's Summer Sample Sale. Even though it was a perfect sunny 70 degree day, people couldn't resist a great shopportunity! There was an amazing mix of talented designers including the lovely Amy Nordstrom and her airy botanical jewels, Bryna Nicole's fabulous leather handbags, and Lia Kes innovative SF via NYC clothing designs.

My jewelry was a major hit! I sold my favorite piece: the sterling silver fishbone bracelet with 14k gold spine. Other popular items included my funky yet classic diamond flotsam & jetsam studs, and sterling silver and diamond weathered band.

Stay tuned for more upcoming Sarah Swell shopping events!

That is great! How awesome is it that you sold the fishbone piece? So much work went into that thing!

Hi sarah! I just stumbled upon your blog and its lovely. the fishbone piece is amazing!!!!!

i am also very fond of your wood jewelry case. I just showed my husband the picture to see if he could build me something similar. Did you have it custom made? I have a rectangular glass case for when i do art shows, but i bought it on a whim and found myself searching for one that I like better.

I mostly do wire wrapping but have taken a couple metalsmithing classes and im getting more into it! you are an inspiration!
thanks!

Hi Cindy, Thanks!

I actually found the case on craigslist and removed many coasts of paint. I have seen them again...I search "glass display case" under the "for sale" category. Good luck!

P.S. love the chunky turquoise necklace AND the torta recipe!
